This two-day childbirth education class takes place at Chicago Family Picnic. We will cover the three stages of labor, medicated and unmedicated comfort measures, inductions, cesareans, golden hour, the postpartum period, and the holistic preparation necessary for childbirth. The course uses evidence-based information to help families figure out their preferences, how to advocate for themselves in the hospital, and to build community for the journey into parenthood.
